　最近、新しい歌を聴きたいなという気持ちもあり、AmazonMusicの「All Hits」というプレイリストを流しています。
　その中でもいくつかの曲が良いな、と思ったのですが、テイラー・スウィフトの「the 1」という曲が耳に残ったので、訳してみました。

　訳していて思ったのは、ここ数年のテイラー・スウィフトは本当に良い曲を作るな、と。
　それは、政治的な発言への制約があった中で吹っ切れたということでもあって、訳しようとすれば、この曲は「the 1」とあるように、「たった1人の人」、つまり「運命の人」とも訳すことが出来て、恋愛の歌に訳すことも出来るのだろうけれど、ここ数年のテイラー・スウィフトの動きを見ていると、この曲はトランプ政権やそれを支持する人たちへの彼女なりの抵抗なんだろうな、と思います。
　だからこそ、この曲を聴いていて僕は何か引っかかったんだろうな、と思います。
